Everything about Sarah and Mitchell’s wedding was hand-picked and tailored to Sarah and Mitch’s personalities, from the tiny Ferrero Rocher snitches, Marauder’s Map invitations, to the sparkling bridal shoes covered in red jewels. Obi and Sabrina stole the show coming down the aisle with their cheeky antics and totally adorable outfits. The ceremony finished with a bellowing “You shall not part!” at the end of their vows by Steven, the celebrant.

Sarah and Mitchell’s wedding landed on a rainy Saturday in September. The skies were a clear blue all the way through until the very end of the ceremony. This seemed to be our luck at so many of our Spring weddings this season… There’s always some uncertainty about the weather if you’re getting married in Melbourne, so come prepared with some clear umbrellas and waterproof mascara!

This wedding had it all- pop culture references, star appearances by their beloved fur babies, and a collection of groomsmen doing a pre-ceremony almost-nudie run around the grassy plains dressed only in kimonos…Sarah and Mitchell were an absolute joy to photograph and we are so grateful to have documented their love story.
