These two lovebirds booked us for their 2020 wedding, but like many other couples had to push back their date a few times before it stuck. On a beautiful February day, Marija and Charlie said “I do” at the edges of the grapevines of Oakridge Winery. Before the ceremony, we had a sweet first look at Cloudehill Gardens.
Tim + Ali | Autumn Wedding at Cloudehill Gardens
This wedding was all kinds of magical. It was grey all morning and all eyes were on the rain radar leading up to the ceremony. Armed with a collection of umbrellas, no inclement weather was going to hold these two lovebirds back from saying their vows in front of their closest loves. The sky alternated twinkling showers with radiant sunshine all throughout the ceremony, making the vibrant autumn colours gleam with glittering rain drops. We loved everything about this wedding, and it takes on a special kind of significance as we’ve been photographing their various musical endeavours since 2016.
Thank you for trusting us, Ali and Tim.
Lisa + Luke | Wedding at Brunswick Park
The skies were a soft pastel blue the day Lisa and Luke got married. The Brunswick park near their home was transformed into a swirl of laughter, pizza, and music. There were tiny fur babies tethered to tiny human babies running around the grassy lawns, juice boxes in hand. The vibe was electric.
It was an honour being with you on your big day, Lisa and Luke! We loved every second!
Trelawney + Kaden | Sunny Kombi Wedding in Mornington
Trelawney and Kaden’s wedding day was dripping in sunshine. Our first self-confessed “Tinderella” love story was picture-perfect, complete with a Kombi named George, tear-jerking vows, a (perfectly Melbourne) post-ceremony coffee cart, a delicious tower of cupcakes and icecream cake to top it all off.
Julia + Ken | Garden Wedding at Ballara Receptions
Julia and Ken married on a sunny Melbourne afternoon at the leafy grounds of Ballara Receptions, Eltham. We arrived to capture a giggly first look. A sweet ceremony followed, with matching vows, and stories that were more about Julia and Ken’s appreciation for their favourite people than it was about themselves.
Afterwards, guests were treated to an authentic Italian gelato cart, followed by good food, entertaining speeches… and the most epic surprise bridal party dance that left everyone in the room with a huge grin on their faces.
Vania + Marvin's Royal Botanic Gardens Wedding
It rained all through the mid-Summer day, with just a tiny 15 minute window of sunlight before the reception. (Just enough time to sneak in some dreamy couple portraits.) Shout out to Mae Mae who stole the show by being absolutely delighted by the torrential downpour during the ceremony.
We loved capturing this special day. Thank you for having us, Vania and Marvin!
